ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

All submissions for entry into the 2014 EMERGING CINEMATOGRAPHER AWARDS must meet the following requirements to be considered for entry and as an honoree:

Failure to meet any of the above entry requirements will result in disqualification.

In an effort to keep the quality of our show to the highest technological standards, we request that winning films be finished on a 35mm projection print or a master quality digital file. The preferred recommended formats are: Full resolution ProRes422/QuickTime, HDCAMSR, 35mm print (which will also need to be digitized). Full resolution DNxHD is also acceptable as an alternative, but not preferred. Audio should be stereo, or 5.1 surround with an accompanying 2/0 mix-down. Also, be prepared to submit no more than a 60 second trailer in any of the preferred and recommended digital formats mentioned.

It’s strongly recommended that all (10) ten DVDs being submitted are tested on DVD player(s), MAC and/or PC prior to submitting, in order to prevent disqualification.

For questions, contact MaryAnne MacDougall at mm@ipgla.com or 323-876-0160 ext. 228.
